Your excuses not to come back home

Make it easy for me to be gone

This chance of highway boredom has me

Up late waiting by the phone

I'm tired of the games we play

I'll never see you anyway

It's just a good example of the

Things that I could never say

Wish I could forget some nights

And the stupid fights where I wanted you

At the same time I can't believe

You're twelve hours away

And I love the fact that when I get home

I never have to be alone

Until that time I'll miss you every day

And it takes too long to text me back

On the side of your backpack
