I was woke in the middle of the night

Looked out the window jumped up with a fright

Opened the window let the music flow

Dog started barking beckoned her to slow

Put on my jeans and wandered down

Just then a rooster crowed

Had been stalling for all these years

How much can a girlie take before

She cries down and permanently breaks

She'd stayed faithful this I know

And now she was putting on her last stand show

Determination in her voice showed

To her wishes I now bowed

Sally I said there comes a time and that time is now

I feel mighty humbled

Would you do me the honour

She blinked and said with glee
