drift, float
这两个动词均有“漂流，漂浮”之意。
drift : 多指随风或顺水飘荡，表示动态。
The snow drifted everywhere.（雪飘至各处。）
float : 可与drift换用，但侧重指因有液体或气体所支持而不下沉，可表动态或静态。
When you're tired of swimming, just float for a while.（你游累了就漂浮一会儿。）
drive, ride
这两个动词均含有“乘、骑”之意。
drive : 指乘坐在有轮子的交通工具之内，控制其行驶。
I drove her to the airport.（我开车送她去机场。）
ride : 通常指骑在车、马上行驶。
She rides easy in the saddle.（她在马鞍上骑得很轻松。）
