4.disclaim  v.  dia = not
 
否认，拒绝承认

-She disclaimed any knowledge of her husband's whereabouts.
-The rebels disclaimed all responsibility for the explosion.

5.disclaimer  n.   
否认者

6.proclaim   = forth,before,forward  
 
宣告，公布，声明，表扬，赞扬

-The president proclaimed a state of emergency.
-The charter proclaimed that all states would have their own government.
-He proclaimed himself emperor.
-This building,more than any other,proclaims the character of the town.
-His accent proclaimed him a Scoton

8.counterclaim  n.  counter = against
    
反诉，反对要求 

-Amid all the claims and counterclaims it was hard to say who was telling the truth.

9.declaim  v.  de = down,intensive
  
 演讲，慷慨激昂地

-She declaimed the famous opening speech of teh play.
-He declaimed against the evils of alcohol.

二、fract,frac,fra,fring = to break

1.fragment  n./v.   frag = to break    ment = state,quality
 
碎片，破碎

-Police found fragments of glass near the scene.

2.fragmentary  a.  
  
不完整的

-There is only fragmentary evidence to support this theory.

3.infraction  n.   in = in,into,against  
 
违反，触犯

4.fractious  a.   ous = having the quality of  
 
易怒的，倔强的

-Children often get fractious and tearful when tired.
-Babies tend to be fractious when their new teeth are growing.
-Italian politics are famous fractious --- It's almost a national joke.

5.fragile  frag = break  able/ible/ile
  
 脆的，易碎的

-fragile china/glass/bones
-a fragile alliance/ceasefire/relationship
-The economy remains extremely fragile.
-fragile beauty
-The woman's fragile face break into a smile.
-Her father is now 86 and in fragile health.

6.infringe 
 
 侵犯，违反，破坏

-The material can be copied without infringing copyright.
-They said that compulsory identity cards would infringe civil liberties.
-She refused to answer questions that infringed on her private affairs.
-infringe a rule/an oath/copyright/a patent
