| The diagrams below describe how to recycle organic waste to produce fertiliser (compost). Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant. |

Body
Step 1
| Prepare a plastic container of about 2 cubic metres. Stab several holes on its body to let air in and out. |

Step 2
| Put a layer of food of about 15 centimetres. Put a 15 cm layer of grass on top of the food layer. Cover the food and grass with pieces of newspaper. Add some more organic waste till the container is half-full. |

· Finally, pour some nitrogen and hot water into the container before sealing it up so that the heat can help the formation of the compost.

· After six months, the compost will be ready for nourishing plants and flowers in the garden.
· Six months later, when the compost is ready, all we need to do is to mix them with garden soil to fertilise the plants and flowers.
